The California School of Professional Psychology - San Diego (CSPP-SD) A local organization that was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), to establish a Rehabilitation Research and Training Center for persons who are hard of hearing or late deafened.
 
Deaf Community Services of San Diego A resource center providing social services to empower and encourage independence for Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals.
 
San Diego County Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (SDCRID) is a non-profit organization committed to professional development, networking and fundraising efforts for professional interpreters, students of interpreting, and supporters of the interpreting community.

USA Deaf Sports Federation USADSF provides deaf and hard of hearing athletes with opportunities to compete with deaf peers as well as the larger society of athletes worldwide.
 
World Recreation Association of the Deaf An international recreation organization with 14 nation members. Originally founded in Southern California as SCRAD.
 
The Captioned Films/Videos Program, funded by the U. S. Department of Education and administered by the National Association of the Deaf.
 
TRIPOD Captioned Films brings major box office hits to deaf and hard of hearing children, young adults and senior citizens around the world. These Open Captioned presentations are released within 2 weeks of the national release. See which local theaters have dedicated screens.
 
Project D.A.T.E. offers signed theatrical performances for the deaf and hard-of-hearing at both the Mark Taper Forum and Ahmanson Theatres in Los Angeles.
